The Monarchs scored two runs in the top of the first, but the Falcons (3-3) got one back in the bottom half when Navarro singled in Jenel Guadagno. Cerritos took a 3-2 lead in the second as Charlee Cox doubled in Stephanie Lomeli and Guadagno singled in Cox. The Falcons made it 7-2 in the fifth, with a two-run single by Lomeli highlighting the outburst. Baseball Daniel Prieto went seven innings for LBCC and allowed one run on four hits. Curtis Thompson went 4 for 5 with an RBI for LBCC.
